How To Start?

 I suggest you start with a 40 day program of praying,
seeking God's will and direction for your financial
life and during that time follow this outline.

  This version is based upon the Florida Baptist Convention's workbook "Christian Financial Planning". I am listed as a contributor to this booklet and this PowerPoint references the booklets pages. I presented this version in January 2007 at the South Side Baptist Church in Ft . Pierce, FL. An audio sermon of the Stewardship of Life is also on the Sermon page.   Also, be aware that I did not understand much of this material the first time I read it! In many cases, you'll just want to read it to gain some insight and understanding. Then, as God directs you in your personal life and devotional life, re-read selected parts of the material.  You'll find, in fact, that much of the material is duplicated or re-written in another format so that you'll end up "seeing" it two or three times. That's the plan--the more you read, study and pray the more He will reveal to you! Search this site for the Triple Korny and you'll see that I usually have to read something 3 times before I can get a clear understanding.
